Old Wykehamists v Old Etonians
Rye: Saturday October 19th
The annual match against the Old Etonians takes place at Rye on Saturday October 19th. ItÕs a 36 hole affair with an excellent Rye lunch in the middle and we play with ten per side. IÕm now one man short for the OW team and would be delighted if someone would like to fill the gap.
ItÕs always a friendly match and, at the end of October, the course at Rye is in probably its best condition of the year. The greens are like glass and the fairways are now watered and in a lovely condition so itÕs a great opportunity to play one of the best links courses in the country.
